With the government regulation on the prohibition of antibiotic use in feed, we as livestock feed business operators conducted several experiments on various feed additive products claiming to be substitutes for AGPs from several companies. We conducted experiments and found that Butyenergy 400+, a butyric acid product manufactured by Zhejiang Vega, China, distributed by PT. Satwa Jawa Jaya, provided significantly better results in terms of performance and stability across all types of feed in both internal and external trials. Since then, we have continued to use this product as a feed supplement and have completely stopped using AGP feed additives.
